Vice President Joseph Biden Shares His Opinion of The Watershed at Congressional Breakfast

“Issues important to The Watershed & NAADAC include parity for alcohol and drug use disorders treatment in group-health plans and repeal of the bans on financial aid to students with drug convictions, as well as on welfare and food stamp benefits to individuals convicted of a drug felony.

The Watershed is a strong voice for sufficient funding of effective drug alcohol treatment and prevention programs to address America’s greatest public health challenge: Drug and alcohol addiction.”

December 14, 2003: Watershed Breaks Ground on 120-bed World Class Addiction Treatment Facility in the Palm Beaches

“Next month The Watershed Treatment Programs will break ground in Boynton Beach on a 120-bed addiction treatment facility. The center, which will employ 350 and is slated to eventually grow to more than 300 beds, is the beginning of a major expansion push by privately held Watershed.”
