The 27th annual 2012 Comprehensive Addiction Rehabilitation Program (CARP) Holiday Gala and Peter Fairclough Memorial Recognition Award Ceremony took place at The Airport Hilton in West Palm Beach December 09, 2012.
Substance Abuse Treatment In Palm Beach County
The room was filled with joy and gratitude as award recipients express their sincere gratitude towards CARP’s continued care and support for those struggling with substance abuse problems in Palm Beach County.
The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs, Inc. was among one of many table sponsors involved in the event. The Peter Fairclough Memorial Recognition Award
The Peter Fairclough Memorial Recognition Award was named after the founder of CARP, Inc., a true pioneer and leader in the field of addiction treatment in Palm Beach County. Awards are presented to those working in the field who demonstrate dedication and commitment to helping individuals struggling with alcohol and drug addiction achieve recovery.
This years Peter Fairclough Memorial Recognition Award recipients included: Dr. John Achinapura, Executive Director, Archstone Recovery; Ms. Jeannie Saros, Life Coach, Authentic Presence Counseling; Ms. Dorrie Tyng, Drug Coordinator, 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County Drug Court.
The Triangle Clue Wins Award
This year CARP also recognized the importance of a 12 step recovery club house and its positive affects on addicts, alcoholics, and the community. This year’s first annual “Club House Award” went to The Triangle Club, Inc located at 1369 Okeechobee Road in West Palm Beach, Fl. The Triangle Club has been in Palm Beach County for more than fifty years, fulfilling its mission to provide a safe, secure, and sober environment for addicts and alcoholics to attend 12 step recovery meetings and sober social gatherings.
The ceremony ended with CARP Executive Director and CEO, Robert P. Bozzone, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to all those in attendance, while giving hope to those newly in recovery that attended the gala. These men and women who are pioneers in the field of substance abuse treatment have helped pave the way so that other sick and suffering addicts and alcoholics can find the help they deserve.
