Reese Witherspoon Arrest Video: Explains She Was Drunk
Reese Witherspoon arrest video for disorderly-conduct goes viral. April 19th, dash-cam video of Reese Witherspoon, one of Hollywood’s most famous actresses, shows a different side of Witherspoon’s more bubbly personality. Witherspoon had reportedly had a few glasses of wine before the altercation happened. In the video Witherspoon is seen interjecting in the arrest of her husband, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, when the Atlanta officer was trying to administer a sobriety test on Toth after they were pulled over.
Reese Witherspoon Arrest Video: Drunk Driving
Trooper First Class J. Pyland requested Witherspoon to stay in the vehicle a few times as she argued with him trying to find out what was going on with her husband. The trooper took no time at all to place Witherspoon under arrest for obstruction of justice. During the arrest, Witherspoon was just spouting out random statements like being pregnant, which later she denies as being true. Witherspoon’s husband stood quietly as she was being arrested, and then explains to the trooper that he had nothing to do with that.
TMZ posted the Reese Witherspoon arrest video from the dash-cam of the trooper’s vehicle just hours after Witherspoon appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” apologizing for her behavior and expressing that she had one too many alcoholic beverages to drink that night.
“I have no idea what I was saying that night,” Witherspoon said. “I literally panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things. I told them I was pregnant. I’m not pregnant.” She was even shown on camera asking the trooper if he knew who she was and that he was about to find out. During the interview, Reese explained the hardest part of the whole ordeal was explaining the incident to her kids.
Although Reese Witherspoon may or may not be an alcoholic, we can clearly see that nobody is above the influence when it comes to drinking too much. Abusing alcohol can impair judgment and cause irrational decision making no matter how famous you are. In this situation, Witherspoon and her husband got off easy for drinking and driving. They could have seriously injured or killed themselves and others.
