Divine Timing the watershed“Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is “timing” it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.” ― Fulton J. Sheen

Divine Timing

Life is full of adventures and experiences and sometimes we aren’t sure why certain things happen or how to handle baffling situations, but recovery helps remind us that it is all about divine timing and that we will be OK. This means at this particular moment, all is right with the world and with you – even if you don’t feel like it is. Our program of recovery allows us to relax and take it easy during situations that call for our action or choices. Sometimes patience is what we really need in order to see what path we should take.

Patience Is Key

Often times life calls for us to take immediate action, but even in those times do we realize that we need to have patience while making a decision and taking action. When we react with our hysterical thinking we may lose sight of what we really need to do. Prayer and meditation help us through those bumpy spots. At the end of it all, divine timing allows the right things to enter our life at the right time while pushing out the negative things that no longer serve a purpose for us.

Faith > Fear

When in doubt or filled with confusion or fear, remember to stop, pray, and meditate about the situation before you react. Divine timing is in play and you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Be patient with yourself, your situation, and others as you proceed. You might be surprised at where this new path is taking you and your recovery.

Just for today, I will be patient and recognize that divine timing is in the works.
