New Year’s, as we enter 2017, there may be a few of you who are still thinking about what their New Year’s resolutions should be. Or have decided on, but want more. Here are some awesome ones that will help your 2017 be even better.
2017 New Year’s Resolutions
This has nothing to do with your body shape, size, or image. Do not focus on your looks, but rather what is on the inside. This means your physical, mental, and spiritual health. When we divert our intentions to what is important and not vain, we can see, feel, and be healthy in the ways that matter most. You are beautiful the way you are, but you deserve to be healthy and good to yourself, too.
Stop beating yourself up for all the things you think you should have done, things you did, or things that you wish were different. It is important to bring your attention to positive thoughts and feelings. This helps bring more positivity into your life and soul and will help guide your hour, day, weeks, and ultimately year.
Let Go Of It
Let go of fear, remorse, worry, doubt, and guilt. Put all your faith and hope into your higher power and allow them to take control of your life. If you feel you have been managing too much, it’s time this new year to let go of all of it. It sounds complicated, but it isn’t when we are ready to do so.
Focus On What Is Important
You are worth more than how many likes you get on Facebook. This year take the time to focus on what is important and leave anything outside of that back in 2016. If you find that you care more about what others think than what you think about yourself, this resolution is for you.
Vanity and stressing over things that don’t really matter can come in all forms and sometimes it’s displayed by those who suffer inside the most. This is your year to be vulnerable and share with others what is really going on, let go of perfectionism, and allow yourself and others to be human.
Balance Being Of Service
Be of service to yourself and others. Make sure you have balance in your life when it comes to service. Too much of service to yourself or too much of service to others can drain you of what you need the most – a balanced healthy lifestyle. So don’t forget to help others as well as help yourself in 2017.
We all know that one thing we need to be rid of, so if and when you are ready to take the leap into your 2017, do it and don’t look back. You are worth all the joy, happiness, and love in this world. May this new year bring you all the good things your body, mind, and spirit need.
Just for today, I will write down my New Year’s resolutions and I will take action towards it.
