Breathe and Let Go
Take a deep breath and let go of the fear of people, places, and things that may be disturbing your peace of mind, body, and spirit.
Know that all is well in the universe and all is well with you.
Don’t forget that you are exactly where you are supposed to be, and more importantly you are not alone.
With each breath you take let go of any expectations that you may have on yourself, others, circumstances, and even the world.
Allow your thinking to drift off into your dreams and wishes coming true.
You are worth it, you are loved, you are deserving of good things. Even if you don’t believe it, know that this is a fact.
If you are reading this meditation, understand that this meditation is specifically for you, so trust the process.
Anxiety, Fear, & Worry
Furthermore, we all have our own levels of anxiety, fear, and worry. They can come to us in many forms and at any point in our lives – inside and outside of recovery. You are not alone if you feel these feelings.
In conclusion, the great thing about feelings is that they are not always facts and they can be changed. Also, right now and right here you can change the way you feel by reminding yourself that you are not alone, that your Higher Power is always in charge, and that your feet are firmly planted on the ground with the knowledge that everything is going to be OK.
Just for today, feed your faith more than your fears and know that you will get through this.
