What Is Flakka?
Flakka is a slang term for a synthetic drug known as alpha-pyrrolidinopentiophenone (Alpha-PVP). These synthetic chemicals simulate an amphetamine-like substance called cathinone that is naturally found in the khat plant. Flakka has been compared to another synthetic street drug known as bath salts.

Flakka is known to cause “excited delirium.” It has the ability to heighten stimulation, paranoia, and hallucinations.
