The Watershed understands that addiction is threefold disease that impacts addicts on a mental, spiritual, and emotional level. With that being said, The Watershed also recognizes that some addicts and alcoholics suffer from co-occurring disorders and require additional dual diagnosis treatment.
As a dual diagnosis facility, The Watershed is able to provide care not just for drug addiction and alcoholism but also for co-occurring disorders like depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, etc.
Often times, Crisis Stabilization Units, mental health centers, and related facilities will need a dual diagnosis treatment center to recommend as part of a patient’s discharge plan for continued treatment. The Watershed wants to be the preferred choice for a dual diagnosis treatment center and looks forward to continuing to develop relationships with facilities that can benefit from the mutual professional relationship.
The Watershed believes in helping patients get the treatment they need and wants to ensure every patient has the opportunity to continue treatment at a reputable facility.
