Many times suffering can bring about a multitude of feelings, like guilt and abandonment. In some cases, we may even feel abandoned by our higher power. These feelings are your feelings and there is nothing wrong with them while they serve their purpose. By this we mean, grieving and letting out our feelings is part of the process, but once we have shed that layer, we must turn our will, care, and thoughts back over to our higher power and help others.
Helpings Others Helps You
Helping others feeds our belief, strength, and hope. It allows us to distract from our own problems long enough so that our higher power can take over. It also allows us to be filled with new ideas and directions for our own path. We will think more clearly and be able to face our troubles with more faith.
Believe Even When You Have Every Reason Not To
The other part that is sometimes forgotten is the seeking of our higher powers will for us, even if we are unsure they are still there – spoiler alert, they are. So often we believe that our minds or bodies should be healed by now, but that is where we need to practice patience. It may take a week, month, year, or more. But when you are to heal, you will with your higher powers help. In the meantime, seeking your higher power, practicing meditation, listening, and working on positive thinking will help the process unfold in way that is better than your own design.
