“Think positive, & positive things will happen.”
Meditation On How To Be Positive
Have you ever thought so negatively that negative things in your life actually started to happen? Only to really confirm that your negative thinking was correct? What if you took that same energy and put it towards being, thinking, and acting positive?
Many might say gratitude
Has a thing or two with being positive, but it also has to do with our attitude towards ourselves, others, and life. I know that when I push towards helping create a more positive outlook on my life, I am happier and as a result, more positive things seem to happen for me. I know that not every day is going to be sunshine rainbows, but I also can’t make every day the storm. It’s important to have some kind of balance, so if things are maybe not so great, but not so terrible, why can’t I incorporate a positive attitude? I’d rather be happy, then miserable, to be honest.
Also, I found that my positive attitude
Sometimes rubs off on other people and can really create a healthier environment with my social circles. Who wouldn’t want to be around someone who is at least trying to live life to the fullest and happiest? I can tell you one thing, nobody likes a cranky Debbie downer – it gets old after a while.
In conclusion, trying my best to remember that my attitude can and does affect others, can sometimes help me check how positive I am being. I am of course human, so I do fall short, but thank goodness for my recovery program so I can be reminded to change my behavior.
I don’t have all the answers,
However, after a few years sober I have learned that the more positive my attitude is the more positive my actions are and the more positive my life becomes. I just would rather not waste my days in the dumps when life isn’t so bad.
I would much rather be happy, think positive, and enjoy each and every day. Life is meant to be enjoyed, so let’s get out there and share some happiness and positively with the world!
Just for today, I will think, be, and act positive. I will share my positivity with others.
