Crescent Mummy Dogs
These super easy and humorous crescent mummy hot dogs will have you mesmerized for more! Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cut unrolled and separated crescent roll dough into thin strips with kitchen scissors or knife. Use these slices to wrap around hot dogs to look like a mummy, making sure to leave a couple inches of uncovered hot dog space towards the top. Put these wrapped hot dogs on a non-greased baking tray and put in the oven for about 13 to 17 minutes accordingly. When done, be sure to let the mummies get their rest and cool before indulging! Then, use mustard or ketchup to dot on some eyes and a smile in the uncovered hot dog area.
Chocolate Creepy Crawlers
Grab a group of friends, a bag of 8-ounce semi-sweet chocolate, and get ready to make some creepy chocolate spiders! Put the chocolate in a bowl suitable for the microwave and set it for 1 minute, making sure to check on it and stir halfway through. Stir the chocolate and put it in for another 30 seconds. Take the bowl out and stir until all the chocolate is melted. (If it is not completely melted together, continue to microwave and stir as needed.) Add in some marshmallows to the melted chocolate and stir. Form tablespoonfuls on waxed paper. Add cut up black licorice for legs and M&M’s for eyeballs. Put your chocolate creepy crawlers in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes and then serve.
Candy Corn Popcorn Balls
With some friends, get some popcorn ready – 12 cups to be exact! Add about 1 ½ cups of candy corn to the popcorn in a bowl. You can even get creative by adding some chocolate chunks, favorite candy pieces, caramel slices, or nuts. Leave this bowl to the side. Put ½ a stick of butter in a microwavable bowl and heat for 30 seconds or until completely melted. Stir in 4 cups of tiny marshmallows and heat for another 1 ½ minutes. Use a spoon to mix and the marshmallows will dissolve in the melted butter. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla, ¼ teaspoon salt, and continue to mix. Put this mixture over the popcorn and candy corn and mix all together. Let it sit until it has reached room temperature. Get your hands covered in cooking spray and grab some of that popcorn mixture to make a ball with your hands. Put these candy corn popcorn balls on a wax sheet and let them cool at room temperature for a while, so that you and your friends can indulge later! Maybe you can put on a horror flick and munch on your snack during the scary scenes!
