Addiction and alcoholism does not discriminate to whom it affects. There are very few gay drug rehabs strictly for the GLBT community. Amongst the GLBT community there are many that are resistant to any sort of treatment because they are ashamed or been shamed for their sexuality.

The Watershed is a gay friendly treatment center who believes in loving the addict/ alcoholic back to health no matter their color, race, or sexual identity. The Watershed creates a comfortable atmosphere where one feels they are in a safe place where they can be honest without judgment. The Watershed recognizes and accommodates for the sick and suffering addict/alcoholic. We realize the significance that ones sexuality can play in their addiction. At The Watershed we realize the lack of gay rehabs amongst us today, so we stress the importance that one addict is no better or worse than the next.
